Instead, he returns from space as a blood-powered creature capable of regenerating from almost any injury.
After attacking the ground base and the space elevator, the creature reaches the city. Conventional weapons cannot stop it, and the machines built to defend humanity begin turning against their own operators.
Leo and the Oddguard are forced back into battle.
Their team of cybernetic animals discovers that the creature can infect and control human-made mechs. Every wound immediately heals—until Nix joins the fight.
The small cat’s connection to a mysterious energy core gives her the one power the creature cannot overcome. Damage caused by Nix does not regenerate.
But defeating the blood creature only reveals a much larger threat.
An advanced alien agent named Vark has come to Earth in search of two energy cores. One has already been stolen by Kane’s organization. The second has been hiding in plain sight, living inside Nix.
When the creator of the cores warns Leo that alien raiders are coming, the Oddguard prepares for war. Vark responds by summoning a massive sea beast near the bridge, using the attack to lure Leo and the mech-beasts into a trap.
While the team battles the creature, Vark and his agent Vexar transform Kane into a remotely controlled weapon.
The Oddguard must divide its forces: some fight the giant beast, some hold off Kane, and Atlas searches for the hidden controller powering him.
Even if they win the battle, Vark only needs one opportunity to take both energy cores—and begin the real invasion.
REBORN MECH-BEASTS: THE ODDGUARD II combines robot animals, alien bioweapons, transforming mechs, kaiju battles, cybernetic creatures, and a team of unlikely guardians fighting to protect Earth.
Watch through the final scene. The monster may be defeated, but the enemy leaves Earth with something far more dangerous than any single creature.
Which member of the Oddguard would you choose for your team?
